John Lipani, New York & Northeast Territories
Throughout the state of New York, John Lipani is here to meet your needs. John Lipani has been with General Mills Bakeries & Foodservice for 12 years. As an Executive Territory Manager for the East, John manages various distributor accounts and Flour for our upstate New York Foodservice Broker and many of our national pizza accounts. Growing up in the bakery business, John's family owned and operated a large Italian Bakery specializing in breads and pizza and spent 5 years serving the pizza industry before joining General Mills.  John has been an integral part of the Pillsbury Bakery Institute both developing training programs for distributor sales teams and as a guest lecturer at the Pizza Crust Bootcamp.

John is a member of the Bread Bakers Guild and enjoy making artisan breads and pizza every weekend.

FUN FACT: John is an avid golfer and currently has a 10 handicap.

Kurt Hildenbrand
Kurt has worked with General Mills in the Bakery Ingredient Group for 3 years. He services the New York Metro area and has over 15 years experience in the foodservice industry. Kurt comes from a line of bakers. His grandfather owned Hilltop bakery in North Bergen, NJ and his father owned Hofstetter's bakery in Tenafly, NJ. Kurt worked with Something Sweet to formulate bundt cakes for Stop & Shop and has helped train metro teammates. His favorite part of working in the bakery world is carrying on the family tradition. 

FUN FACT: Kurt enjoys golfing and fishing. Kurt's home was built in 1713.

Julie Monagle
Julie Monagle has been with General Mills Bakeries & Foodservice for one year and services in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania area. Julie works closely with operators to find products that suit both their budgets and their customers' tastes. Her favorite part of being involved in the baking world is working with people who have a true passion for their art and their business.

FUN FACT: Julie is addicted to America Idol.

Michael Crane

Michael has just recently started working with General Mills in the Bakery Distribution Group.  He services the New York Metro area.  He has been involved in the bakery industry his whole life.  His father was a baker in Queens, NY.   He is a recent graduate of Loyola College of Maryland.  His favorite part of working in the bakery world is dealing with people that he grew up around.

FUN FACT:  Mike enjoys playing live venues with his band as well as golf.
