- Set out desired amount of puff pastry squares. Allow to thaw for at least 20-30 minutes.
- Make 4 cuts in each corner 1/2 inch away from the edge of the square. Leave 3/4 inch in the middle of each side of the square uncut. Lightly spray with water.
- Take all 4 corners of the square and fold in towards the center of the square. Be sure all 4 corners meet exactly in the center. Seal the center with slight pressure.
- Lightly spray with water again and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
- Fill in the 4 petal areas with choice of filling. Fill in the center with a different color filling.
